National HS Showcase (Boys)
Team Texas National High School Showcase is a premier recruitment event designed to highlight talented high school hockey players who may otherwise be overlooked due to geographic or budgetary constraints. This four-day event provides a competitive stage for athletes to demonstrate their skills to scouts in person and online, serving as a vital springboard to upper-echelon hockey programs across North America.
Tournament & Organization Highlights
About Team Texas
Team Texas provides an elite opportunity for current junior and senior high school hockey players from Texas-affiliated schools to compete on the national stage. Sponsored and supported by the Texas Amateur Hockey Association (TAHA), our team is selected through a rigorous tryout process held each March. We curate a competitive roster of 20 top-tier scholastic players to represent Texas.
- Dates: April 15–18, 2027
- Location: Troy, Michigan
Eligibility & Requirements
This event is open to high school juniors and seniors across Texas who are currently playing on their high school hockey team during the Fall/Winter season.
- Roster Composition: The team will list a 20-man starting roster.
- Alternates: To account for potential injuries or academic eligibility changes, we will list 2 alternate forwards, 2 alternate defensemen, and 1 alternate goalie. Alternates will only be asked to play if a starting roster player is unable to participate.
- Good Standing: All participants must be in “Good Standing” with their current club team, TAHA, and USA Hockey.
- Verification: All players are required to register online. Following registration, all applicants will be vetted to ensure they are currently rostered and have actively played games for their school prior to acceptance.
